34 young individuals lived a leadership experience in the Biosphere of Los Tuxtlas, Veracruz for a week, thanks to the Vacations for All movement.

These young people in vulnerable condition, students from UNAM, IPN and Conalep have been recognized with the Bernardo Quintana Award and with honorific mention, through the Fundación de Apoyo a la Juventud, who have excelled exemplarily for their academic excellence, leadership, value, patriotism or service and that are a great example of resilience.

There was support in transportation from Autobuses Flecha Roja, and that’s how these young people traveled to Catemaco to enter the Biosphere, begin the adventure through the learning and transformation challenge by Outward Bound Mexico. They met the local communities, climbed the mountain, crossed rivers, camped, rappelled and together they reached the beach, where several met the sea for the first time.

“It has been the best week of my life” said Sebastián Alba, Service Award 2018
