Thanks to the Vacations for All project, fifty-seven young people from Christel House Mexico who received scholarships since primary school experienced their first-ever camp at YMCA Camohmila in Tepoztlán, Morelos. This unforgettable camp celebrated their completion of high school.

“I learned a lot of things. Climbing the wall was one of my favorite parts, I learned not to give up, to live together and be patient. Thank you very much.” – Abigail, beneficiary of Christel House

Christel House is an organization that transforms lives through education, breaking the cycle of poverty and building purposeful futures. This trip marked a special closing moment for these young people: a space to reflect, bond, strengthen their leadership, and prepare emotionally for what’s next.

“It was really a good experience to finish a stage, and start something new that would be adulthood.” – Diego, beneficiary of Christel House

Surrounded by laughter and learning, they swam, sang around the campfire, climbed a climbing wall, participated in teamwork activities, and overcame different challenges that tested their confidence and collaboration.

We managed to offer them a moment full of energy and meaning to continue their journey with hope. When someone believes in you from the start, every step forward feels firmer. Let’s continue to support these talented and committed young people to create positive experiences that leave a lasting mark on their lives.
