Thanks to the Movement Vacations for All, 163 kids, together with their mothers and grandmothers, enjoyed a camp full of fun and learning in Tepoztlán.

In the Royal Holiday Foundation we want to leave a mark that benefits people, thanks to the Vacations for All project, we were able to take 163 kids from the Santa Maria Diner AC in Ecatepec, Mexico State to a wonderful camp in YMCA Camohmila, Tepoztlan, Morelos, accompanied by their moms or in some cases grandparents.

During this three-day camp, the kids were a part of different outdoor activities where they were able to enjoy nature, let their imagination fly, work on trusting themselves, and develop new abilities.

As part of the activities, the kids walked on a route blindfolded where they had to trust their sense of touch, some defeated their fear of heights by climbing on a rock climbing wall, and others learned to swim with the help of their moms. Throughout the day, the campers enjoyed delicious and healthy meals, at night, they spent time singing and eating s’mores by the bonfire.

This was also a great trip for the moms, they were able to get to know their kids in a different setting and strengthen their bonds by spending quality time with them. Spending time with their moms and grandparents made every kid smile from ear to ear throughout the camp. These smiles and these moments of joy are the things that we strive for at the Royal Holiday Foundation. We all want to be part of the movement Vacations for All.
