Royal Holiday Foundation thanks all the hard work done by the medical community during the pandemic.

Over time, the COVID-19 epidemic has taught us many important things. The first is that even as the world evolves, the human values we should uphold most are empathy, helpfulness, and thankfulness.

Being aware of this, Royal Holiday Foundation concentrated its efforts on a team of medical specialists who, no matter the circumstance—including the urgency, risk, or emergency—provided their services with the utmost professionalism and commitment. They have been on the front lines caring for COVID-19 patients throughout the health crisis. Because of this, we loaded up and traveled to a much-needed getaway at Park Royal Beach Huatulco with 30 beneficiaries from Delegación IMSS Norte, Mexico City, thanks to our Vacations for All project.

Doctors, nurses, social workers, promoters, assistants, and auxiliaries flew to this location for a 4-day, 3-night vacation during which they traded in their scrubs for swimming suits and were all greeted by the hotel staff with cheers and cool drinks.

Throughout their stay, they all enjoyed a variety of tasty dishes at the hotel’s restaurants, such as Andiamo, specialized in Italian cuisine, and Veranda, everyone’s favorite location. They also made sure to try some traditional Oaxacan treats! They all took part in a series of specially planned events organized by our Funtastic Team, which is known for always being upbeat! These included volleyball in the pool, beach walks accompanied by tales of the port of Huatulco, music, dancing, and, to cap it all off, a fantastic Oaxacan show. The medical personnel who traveled to Huatulco will undoubtedly be able to continue working with the same dedication and enthusiasm that they have always demonstrated.

Thank you so much for making this happen!
