Where dreams grow

At the top of Tenancingo, amidst trees and laughter, 150 girls and boys lived a few days that they will hardly forget. Thanks to the Vacations for All project and the alliance with Colonias de Vacaciones I.A.P., children from schools in the State of Mexico who are in economic and social vulnerability enjoyed a camp that offered them not only fun but also a safe space to be, grow, and dream.

“I had fun and shared with others. I learned not to give up and to follow my dreams”. — Jonathan, a child from a marginalized area in the State of Mexico

Each activity was a spark of connection and joy: gymnastics, team activities, dances, bonfires, invented songs and an Olympic show where everyone shone. But beyond the game, what happened was a human connection: girls and boys with difficult stories found themselves in each other’s laughter, learned to work as a team, and discovered that they are not alone.

“Everything was very fun. It was the most beautiful experience I have ever had!” — Paulina, girl from marginalized area of the State of Mexico

This experience sowed in them the certainty that they deserve happy moments, that they have a voice, and that their childhood can and should be lived with dignity, freedom and love. Because when dreams are felt at home, hearts begin to heal.
