The best gift for the soul: laughter and the sea.

This summer, we took 11 boys and girls who were born and lived in Santa Martha Acatitla´s prison to visit the sea of Huatulco, for the first time, along with 12 volunteers from Reinserta. All these little ones with mothers or fathers who have been deprived of their freedom, currently live in an orphanage of the Fundación Familiar Infantil (Children’s Family Foundation), FUNFAI. 

This time they traveled with Viva Aerobus, which donated the plane tickets to make it a completely different experience for them. At the Park Royal Beach Huatulco hotel, they were able to enjoy the sea and swim in the pool, they also had fun with games organized by the Funtastic Team and enjoyed the hotel facilities to the fullest. 

The icing on the cake was a “Oaxacan night” during which they danced and watched a spectacular fire show. 

The experiences lived together with Reinserta’s volunteers marked these children’s souls. We are sure that the peace and calmness they experienced, as well as the laughter they enjoyed, will be part of their lives forever.
