Garbage scavengers’ families live a camp in Tepoztlán

By the end of this month, 75 people among children and adults from communities that collect garbage in the dumps as their way of life from Nezahualcóyotl, Edo. Mex, lived a unique vacation experience at Camp YMCA Camohmila, Tepoztlán, Morelos for 3 days.

These children are awarded with scholarships by the FAE Educational Assistance Foundation, in partnership with the Royal Holiday Foundation and thanks to the Vacations for All project, benefited to live unforgettable days, and accompanied by one of their parents.

At camp, they live various experiences for the first time: swimming in a pool, having water activities, sports and night games, making crafts, enjoying a campfire, among others.

These children and their parents strengthen their emotional bonds and generate positive memories for a lifetime.
