For the third consecutive year, 120 children and young people with disabilities traveled to Cancun.

A total of 120 children and young people with disabilities and cerebral palsy from APAC, got on a plane and traveled to Cancun for the first time, thanks to the Vacations for All project.

Along the week they enjoyed water activities on the beach in Cancun, as well as dancing, costumes contest, rally, yoga, among others. Similarly, they conducted guided visits to archeological areas such as Tulum and got to know Xcaret.

APAC volunteers joined the trip to be companions and caretakers for these children and young people at all times, ensuring the enjoyment of their vacations at sea fully and safely.

This trip was part of their integral development and inclusion in society, in which they exercise their right to recreation and autonomy, since they are in a different context than usual and far from the care of their parents.

Let’s continue creating positive experiences that leave their mark!
