An unforgettable journey of growth

Twenty-seven young people enjoyed an unforgettable vacation experience at the YMCA Camohmila Camp in Tepoztlán, Morelos, thanks to a collaboration with Casa Alianza IAP. These young people are beneficiaries of the organization, whose mission is to support children and adolescents facing violence and social abandonment, helping them reintegrate into society and become self-sufficient. 

During the camp, the young people participated in various activities, including a challenging circuit that fostered integration and teamwork, and wall climbing, which helped them develop confidence. They also enjoyed swimming, an activity that strengthened friendships. The “Night of Stars” provided an opportunity for reflection on their emotions, dreams, and surroundings. Finally, they hiked to the “La Guarda” hill to watch the sunrise, a challenge that symbolized overcoming obstacles and rediscovering inner strength and mutual support. 

This camp allowed them not only to disconnect from their difficult realities but also to grow and connect with themselves and their peers, reminding them that with perseverance, unity, and self-confidence, any challenge can be overcome.
