The air is filled with laughter in a camp

The Vacations for All project held a camp in collaboration with Colonias de Vacaciones, I.A.P. vacation colonies in Tenancingo. This awesome experience brought together 173 vulnerable kids from marginalized neighborhoods in the State of Mexico. We wanted them to learn, have fun, and feel connected. 

Colonias de Vacaciones, an institution committed to the integral development of children, designed a program that strengthened essential values such as teamwork, integration and self-confidence. For a few days, these kids had a blast doing gymnastics, sitting around the campfire, dancing up a storm, and making up their own songs. It was really fun and helped them get creative.

The camp was not just a space for fun, but an opportunity for children to get to know themselves and their peers better. Undoubtedly, this experience left a mark on their hearts, reminding them that there are always opportunities to grow and dream, even in the midst of adversity. We will continue to work to create smiles for children.
