We reinsert hopes

Protecting children is protecting hope. This is the goal of Reinserta, an organization that supports children and teenagers who have survived violence. They provide care, a safe space to be heard, and a path toward a brighter future. No child should have to carry such heavy wounds or lose the chance to be happy.

“I learned to swim and make friends.” Child beneficiary of the Reinserta’s “Survivors” program

To help with this mission, and with the support of the Royal Holiday Foundation, 10 young survivors and their families had the chance to experience a vacation at the sea for the first time. Their destination was Huatulco, a place where laughter and peace became a source of healing for their hearts.

“The trip from start to finish is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever lived with my daughter, thank you for giving us the opportunity to take away a beautiful memory forever.” Mother of a child beneficiary of Reinserta’s “Survivors” program

Their journey began with a dream come true: flying. Viva Aerobus made it possible for the children to take to the skies. Once they landed, the team at Park Royal Beach Huatulco greeted them with warm applause and smiles, making them feel right at home.

For four days, the hotel was filled with new memories. The children enjoyed pool parties in the wading pool with special buffets, a mini-Olympics with their families, building sandcastles on the beach, and a children’s cocktail party featuring a fire juggler. They were also treated to a show of Oaxacan dances that celebrated the vibrant culture of Mexico.

More than just a vacation, this trip was a much-needed break from the pain they have endured. It was a chance to reconnect, rest, and fill their lives with new moments of joy and color.
