Smiles without barriers in a dream camp

The Royal Holiday Foundation, in partnership with the John Langdon Down Foundation, took 68 people including children with Down syndrome and their parents to experience a weekend full of joy, connection and learning at the YMCA Camohmila camp in Tepoztlán, Morelos.
During this experience, families enjoyed activities designed to promote their independence, autonomy, and integration. Laughter was the main attraction at the pool, while the disco night became one of the most anticipated moments for the kids. There was also a cooking workshop, where they made cake pops, and a dance session that strengthened family bonds.

Beyond fun and relaxation, the purpose of the camp was to strengthen the bond between parents and children and promote inclusion in an environment of respect and affection. The John Langdon Down Foundation, with more than 50 years of experience, continues to promote the development and inclusion of people with Down syndrome, and this alliance with the Royal Holiday Foundation reaffirms that commitment.

Each family returned with magical memories, strengthened hearts, and the certainty that inclusion is also celebrated with joy.
