There are experiences that ignite in childhood. It’s that feeling of belonging, of playing without fear, of laughing without limits. This is how the 190 girls and boys from marginalized areas of the State of Mexico experienced it, who, thanks to the Vacations for All project, enjoyed a camp in Tenancingo.

“It was truly incredible. I met some really fun people who helped me with a lot of things”. Santiago, a boy from a marginalized area of the State of Mexico.

During these days, the children participated in activities that sparked their creativity, their confidence, and their desire to socialize. They did gymnastics, competed in a rally, sang around the campfire, danced, invented songs, and strengthened bonds in each activity.

“This experience was very fun, happy, joyful, exciting and content for me”. Alejandra, a girl from a marginalized area of the State of Mexico.

More than a camp, it was a respite. An opportunity to discover themselves, play, integrate with others and work as a team while experiencing moments full of joy. A trip they will remember for a long time.
