39 beneficiaries of the Reinserta Survivors program and their team of therapists enjoyed a family camp and experienced transformative days thanks to the alliance between the Royal Holiday Foundation and Reinserta.

Reinserta works tirelessly to break cycles of violence in Mexico, focusing on the mental health and social reconstruction of children and adolescents who are victims of violence. The goal was to strengthen family bonds, promote teamwork, and provide families with a safe space.

The activities were designed to challenge participants and foster unity, including water polo matches in the pool, the creation of Huichol eyes, and communication dynamics that reinforced mutual trust. One of the most significant and emotional moments of the camp was the reflection exercise called “Rain of Stars”, where participants were able to connect connected with their inner self in an environment of deep respect.

This experience allowed families and therapists to return with stronger tools and bonds for their journey of social reconstruction.

Thanks for the camp, I had a great time. I met some really nice people and it was a very cool experience. Reinserta Beneficiary.

We all learned to be friendlier, have more confidence, and work as a team.
It was great and different from the experiences I had lived. Thank you. Reinserta Beneficiary.
